Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in South Gloucestershire, England. The job is at an auto components factory. Day-to-day duties: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
