Steel fixing chargehand — Montgomery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Montgomery County, Kentucky. Day to day you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates 3+ years on the tools preferred.
