Great opportunity: we are hiring a cement mason in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
