Lifting rigger wanted in Livingston County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Livingston County, Illinois. You will work on a high-rise building site. On a typical shift you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
