Immediate opening: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Ontario County, New York. You will work on a bridge maintenance job. Requirements: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage On a typical shift you will erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips.
