Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Ashley County, Arkansas. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper 4+ years on the tools preferred.
