Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Brazoria County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
