Catering cook — Chilton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a catering cook in Chilton County, Alabama. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. You will cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat. You should have: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Full-time with occasional weekends. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
