Plant operator (dozer) — Lincoln Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a dam or embankment job. You will spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. You should have: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Full-time with occasional weekends.
