The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals 4+ years on the tools preferred.
