Stainless steel welder wanted in Sequatchie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Sequatchie County, Tennessee. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Rotating shifts.
