Bench joiner • Prince William County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bench joiner in Prince William County, Virginia. The role involves cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. You should have: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
