We are recruiting: diesel mechanic (Alaska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a diesel mechanic in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. Day to day you will carry out suspension and steering repairs; replace alternators, starter motors and batteries; replace brake pads, discs and callipers; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends. Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Own set of hand tools Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
