Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety marshal in Keweenaw County, Michigan. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment.
