Now hiring: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Champaign County, Illinois. You will be based at a cold storage facility. Requirements: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Day-to-day duties: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
