The role involves: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
