Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Duval County, Texas. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Day to day you will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
