Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Fulton County, Georgia. You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 3+ years on the tools preferred.
