Aluminium tig welder wanted in Morgan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Morgan County, Illinois. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
