Tile setter — Kodiak Island Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tile setter in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. You will work at a bathroom renovation job. On a typical shift you will fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Part-time with flexible hours.
