Vacancy available: elevator repair technician (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Lapeer County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day to day you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. We offer $130 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
