Gas meter installer • Montague County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Montague County, Texas. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Able to read isometric and site drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
