VRF/VRV installation technician • Jefferson County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VRF/VRV installation technician in Jefferson County, Illinois. The job is at an air conditioning service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping Requirements: • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence for site visits • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Can read electrical and piping schematics 2+ years on the tools preferred.
