Now hiring: sheet metal welder (Mississippi)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Leake County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
