The role involves rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits 2+ years on the tools preferred. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
