Join our team: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The job is in a tyre and puncture shop. Day to day you will check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres. You should have: • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
