Vacancy available: GMAW welder (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Pecos County, Texas. On a typical shift you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 5+ years on the tools preferred.
