Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in City of Edinburgh

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day to day you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish.
