Milling machine operator wanted in Fayette County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Fayette County, Indiana. You will work at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work The role involves: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
