Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety marshal in DeSoto County, Mississippi. The job is at a manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day-to-day duties: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
