Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Heard County, Georgia. You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 3+ years on the tools preferred.
