GTAW welder wanted in Natchitoches Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a structural steel site. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On a typical shift you will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
