We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Walsall, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding You will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around £1,750 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
