Bodywork technician — City of Fredericksburg

Join our team: we are hiring a bodywork technician in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. You will be based at an accident repair garage. You will mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
