The role involves: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Rotating shifts.
