Fabricator-welder wanted in Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Jefferson County, Oregon. Your main tasks: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Full-time, day shift.
