Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Tulare County, California. The job is at a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements We offer $22 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
