HSE officer — Gwaram

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Gwaram, Jigawa State. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills You will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift.
