Vacancy available: fabricator-welder (Pennsylvania)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. On a typical shift you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
