Great opportunity: GMAW welder (Maine)

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Hancock County, Maine. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
