Vertical transportation technician wanted in Worcester County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Worcester County, Massachusetts. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Day to day you will run load and overload tests with test weights; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits.
