Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in City of Roanoke, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Day to day you will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; record output and downtime on the production sheet; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
