Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in New Kent County, Virginia. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. On the job you will handle: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents You should have: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
