Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Brown County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Brown County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
