We are recruiting: milling machine operator (New York)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Franklin County, New York. You will be based at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 2+ years on the tools preferred.
