Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Tillamook County, Oregon. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 1+ years on the tools preferred.
