Now hiring: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Seward County, Kansas. The job is in a refurbishment property. On the job you will handle: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
