We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Wabasha County, Minnesota. You will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Full-time, day shift.
