Kitchen porter wanted in Lake and Peninsula Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. You will top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room. You should have: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure Part-time with flexible hours.
