Health and safety supervisor — Kiyawa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Kiyawa, Jigawa State. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
